Building dedication booklet : state publication, 1962.

This booklet was prepared by the Geological Survey and the Board for the dedication of the Oil and Gas Board Building on the University of Alabama campus, 1962 May 3. It contains the names, cities of residence, and photographs of present Board members and a chronological list by term served of past members and their residences; the history of the exploration, development, and use of natural resources in the state and the role of the Survey and Board; and a discussion of the state's untapped resources and potential revenue and of the past and future of the oil and gas, mineral, and water supplies of the state. Concluding the booklet are an organization chart which includes photographs of personnel, a diagram of functions by division, a photograph of the bronze wall plaque inside the building (also called the Walter Bryan Jones Hall), and a program of the dedication ceremonies.
